2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data:

• Server logs: IP address (anonymized by truncation of the last octet), browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Automatically deleted after 30 days.
  Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in the technically secure and stable operation of this website.
• Google Analytics (with consent): Page views, session duration, device type, approximate location (country/region). No full IP addresses, no personal profiles.
• Local preferences: Your cookie preference, language choice, and theme preference are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Google Ireland Limited pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

• Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Analytics cookies are only set after your explicit consent.
• IP anonymization: Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.
• Retention: Analytics data stored in Google Analytics is deleted after 2 months. Note: The _ga browser cookie persists for 2 years on your device so that returning visitors can be recognised. This is separate from how long Google retains the underlying analytics data on its servers.
• Data transfer to the US: Google may process data in the US. The transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU Commission adequacy decision).

• Fonts: This website uses self-hosted fonts. No font files are loaded from Google or any external server. No data is transmitted to third parties in connection with fonts.
• padelfip.com: Ranking data is sourced from padelfip.com. No images or media are loaded from padelfip.com.

No data is shared with advertising networks or social media platforms.

8. Player Data

This website publishes player names, rankings, match statistics, and biographical summaries sourced from publicly available data provided by the FIP (Federación Internacional de Pádel) and padelapi.org.

• Purpose: Publication of sporting statistics and rankings for informational purposes.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing accurate, publicly available padel ranking information. Player data is limited to professional sporting activity and does not include private or sensitive personal information.

9. Automated Content

Parts of the player biographies and ranking projections are generated using automated methods. This content is based on publicly available statistics from the FIP and is editorially reviewed. Elo ratings and projections are PadelRankingLive calculations and do not represent official FIP values.
